Plugins & Themes Collections - Ultimate Time Saver

Every new site you build comes with the same boring job - install and update all your favorite plugins. Some are on the WP repo, some are pro so you have them in ZIPs. Then you have to activate them, enter license keys and make sure they are all updated. It can easily take half an hour to install 10 plugins. With WP Reset's collections, installing 10 plugins is one click and a few minutes of waiting!

  • create as many collections as you need
  • once created a collection can be used on any site
  • every collection has unlimited plugins and themes
  • you can add plugins and themes from WP repository and from ZIP files
  • license keys can be saved safely&securely in collections so you don't have to look for them (don't worry we keep them encrypted!)
  • collections can be installed any time - on fresh sites or after resetting a site

Snapshots - Your Personal Time Machine

We all like clicking the update button and testing things on live sites. In most cases, it goes well. But what if things don't work out? How can you undo that update? You can't! Unless you have WP Reset which automatically creates a snapshot (like Windows restore point) before you make big changes on your site! How do you restore a snapshot? You click "restore" and wait for a few seconds. Yes, it's that simple.

  • WP Reset automatically creates snapshots before plugin updates, activations, deactivations and other important changes you make on the site
  • create snapshots from any WP admin page in seconds
  • it saves the whole database and the plugin/theme files that were changed
  • you can create as many snapshots as you need at any point before making changes to the site
  • restoring a snaphost takes one click
  • typical snapshot takes only 3MB of space on your hosting account
  • old snaphosts are automatically deleted so they don't take up space
  • snapshot cloud storage is planned for future versions

Recovery Tool - Your Personal WP Superhero

You can't log in but you know the username and password? The site doesn't work, admin doesn't work. All you see is a white screen? You're in full panic mode? Don't be. We've all been there. WP Reset's Recovery tool is a standalone script that is completely independent of any WP files and always works. Open it via a secure link and it'll help you get the site up&running in no time. Here's what the tool offers:

  • disable/enable selected (or all) plugins
  • disable current theme
  • check all core files to see if some are missing or damaged and restore them
  • create a new admin user without loggin in

Cleaning Tools

Nobody likes a messy site but cleaning out data left by theme and plugin demos can take hours. WP Reset offers various tools that will remove all that junk with a single click, and leave the data you need intact. Here's a full list of our tools:

  • delete transients
  • delete any content type - posts, pages, menus, custom post types, revisions, ...
  • delete local data - cookies and local storage
  • purge cache in all plugins
  • delete widgets
  • clean uploads folder
  • reset theme options
  • delete themes
  • delete plugins
  • delete or empty selected custom tables
  • delete htaccess file

Nuclear Reset - Sometimes Starting From Zero is Best

You've spent half a day finding the right plugin or theme and now that you finally have it, it's time to build the site. But, before you do you need to clean it from all the junk that's left behind. Hit "nuclear reset" and in 30 seconds your site will be cleaner than a fresh installation! WP Reset will remove everything, all the junk from the database, all plugins, themes, whole wp-uploads folder - everything.

Switch WordPress Version

Your hosting company is pressuring you to switch to the latest version of WP and they updated without asking you? Not a problem! Pick the version you want, click "switch version" and you're done, it's that simple. Feel free to test fresh beta versions too - you can always go back.

Whitelabel Option

If you are working with clients, you don't have to show them the details about WebFactory, the developer of this plugin. Simply turn on the Whitelabel Option, and all our logos from the plugin will disappear.

Also, if you decide to hide the license tab from your client, this option will wipe the data off their screens so no one but you can access the license information.

Automatic Snapshots

If you are ready to give up a portion of control and delegate it to WP Reset, you can end up having a semi-autonomous environment that takes care of you & your site. Let the plugin automatically store snapshots to the cloud, so you can be safe all the time.

Just in case something goes wrong, or you realize that you shouldn't have done something that messed up your entire site, WP Reset would be able to save your b*** by having a snapshot automatically created. Whether it's a snapshot created before an important update, installation, or it's been done after a specific period of time has passed, you'll love the fact you can always revert back to a safe & working state of the website you had earlier.

Still, whenever you decide to create a manual snapshot, you just have to click a button.

The Cloud

In the modern world, when people decide to store a file in a safe place, the cloud is a safe bet. That's why we have offered to store WP Reset's snapshots & collections to the cloud, so you don't have to rely only on your hosting alone.

Every WP Reset PRO user gets to use Dropbox and Google Drive where they can easily connect and offload those snapshots & collections. But if you decide to have it an easier & safer way, you can sign up for our cloud service, meaning everything will be automatic and controlled by WebFactory, so you don't have to worry about a thing.

If you're still not sure how this works, let our CEO Gordan Orlic explain the difference between cloud and non-cloud versions of the plugin.

Centralized Management (coming mid-2020)

Do you have multiple websites that you manage and where you need the help of WP Reset? If so, the centralized dashboard where you will be able to control all your websites, collections & snapshots will be a feature you won't be able to live without!

Instead of configuring numberless collections for each site or losing time to track down a specific snapshot from each and every site separately, save some time by doing all the important work from just one spot.

Premium Support

If you need help with anything, we got your back!

We do not outsource support, meaning that you will be talking directly to the WebFactory team who has been working on the plugin from the very beginning. All our colleagues work with WP Reset on a daily basis and will be able to help you with anything you need. But just in case the problem gets bigger, you can stop worrying because the developers who actually spent months coding the plugin are here to help and you will be able to talk to them directly!

Continuous Developemt

The WebFactory team has been working on WP Reset for more than two years. After so many time spent with the plugin, we can proudly say that there are more than 200,000 active users who use & love WP Reset!

All the support has given us wind in the back, and we are now even more eager to continue working on both the free & PRO versions of the plugin. This means we will constantly keep improving the plugin and do our best to make it the best reset plugin for WordPress all the time.

Continuos Developemt

This plugin is amazing! I didn’t even know I needed it until I tried it. Now I can’t build a site without it. No more switching back and forth hoping I delete the right plugins or tables, one click and I’m back to a clean slate to try again.

I build many sites using premade templates. Many come loaded with additional plugins. They are a huge time saver until the customer decides they want to go in a different direction. It used to be a long process getting back to a vanilla state and start over. With WP Reset, a few clicks and I’m building the new version of the site quickly and painlessly. The database snapshot / backup feature is a lifesaving feature as well. It’s saved me a few times when an update did not go as planned. Few clicks and all is good.

FAQ

Something’s still not clear? Email us or message us on Facebook.

How long will the LTD last?

10 days; from Monday January 13th till Thursday the 23rd.

How many licenses are available?

500 licenses for each tier.

What are the plans for WP Reset in the future? What features will you add?

Please check out our public roadmap for details. One of the biggest upcoming features is the WP Reset Dashboard that’s coming in mid-2020 and will enable you to control licenses, snapshots and collections on all sites from one centralized location.

Are there any additional discounts available?

For the first 48h you can get $50 off on the Agency license – it’s auto-applied. After that only people who bought the Security Ninja & Coming Soon bundle get 15% off. If you’re one of them and didn’t get our email please, get in touch.

What’s the refund policy?

30 days no questions asked. Just email us.

Are there any other tiers / packages available?

Sorry just the 3 you see; personal – 3 sites, team – 30 sites, agency – unlimited sites.

Can I move the licenses between sites?

Sure! Once you deactivate the plugin on a site the license goes back into your license pool and you can activate it on another site. This applies to cloud licenses as well once WP Reset Dashboard will be available in mid-2020.

Where and how do I manage the licenses?

At the moment there’s no place to manage the licenses. You get one license key and you use it on all of your sites. If you bought the agency license in mid-2020 you’ll get access to the WP Reset Dashboard where you’ll be able to manage all your licenses, create new ones and activate them on remote sites without a license key.

Can I hide the license key so my customers don’t see it?

Sure, that one of our agency options. Once you activate the license key on a site activate the whitelabel option in the license tab and the license will be hidden.

I’m short on cash. Do you have a payment plan?

Sure! There’s a payment plan available for the agency license. It’s 3 monthly payments. Link is in the pricing table.

What are the regular prices for WP Reset?

It’s $79 per year for one site, $158 per year for 5 sites, and $299 per year for a hundred sites. There are no lifetime licenses available.

Is the cloud feature included in the price?

The agency license includes the cloud for up to 10 sites (10 at once, so you can change sites). If you have more sites you’ll be able to purchase more cloud licenses separately.  And you can offload snapshots and collections to you Dropbox and Google Drive – that’s included in all licenses.

Why was the pre-sale more expensive?

It wasn’t. Pre-sale was $299 for 500 sites and it included the cloud feature for all of them. Or $119 for 5 sites which also included the cloud feature.

Is WP Reset a backup plugin?

WP Reset does not replace conventional backup plugins. Instead, it works alongside them to provide better protection for your site. Watch the video for a more detailed explanation.

Is WP Reset a site migration tool? Can I create a snapshot on one site and transfer it to another?

No, it’s not. It has some migration functionalities but it can’t replace a migration plugin. More details are available in this video.

Will WP Reset slow down my site?

Absolutely not! WP Reset does not slow down or modify the site in any way.

How do I get support? Is your support any good?

Support is provided by developers who made the plugin and use the plugin themselves as well as our non-dev staff who use the plugin on a daily basis. We do not outsource support! Support is provided via email and our average first response is within 2 hours.

I prefer to watch videos, do you have any?

Sure! We have a bunch of videos about WP Reset in the section below and our Youtube channel.

Will you continue to maintain and upgrade the plugin?

Absolutely! The free version of WP Reset has been online since May 2016 and has almost 200,000 users! We took care of it for over three years before there was even talk about a pro version. Rest assured we have a lot of plans for WP Reset and your investment in the LTD will surely pay off.

What’s WP Reset Dashboard?

WP Reset Dashboard is one of the biggest features of WP Reset that we’re still working on and it will be available in mid-2020.
For agency license holders it will provide the means to control licenses on individual sites by creating single site license keys, activate licenses without a license key, and to deactivate a license on any site.
Those who have the cloud option will be able to control and manage their snapshots and collections on all sites from one location.

How does the PRO version compare to the free one?

Short answer – PRO version has 3 times more features than free one. Long answer – see the full comparison.

Does it work on multisite?

Tools that affect only one child site work on WPMU. Tools that affect all sites like “delete plugins” don’t work on WPMU because all sites share the same files.

Does it make automatic backups of what it deletes? Can you undo a delete action?

For some tools, it creates an automatic snapshot so you can undo with one click.

Snapshots are like full-site backups?

No, snapshots are not full-site backups. Snapshots contain the full database and only those files that are relevant to that snapshot. For instance if a plugin is being updated the snapshot will contain the old version of the plugin. But only that.

Do you support pCloud?

At the moment no, only Dropbox and Google Drive. However you can vote for pCloud on our roadmap and if enough people vote we’ll add it.

I don’t understand the difference between the cloud and the non-cloud version

It’s explained in detail in this video.

Can I accidentally delete something?

No. You have to double-confirm every action so deleting something by accident is almost impossible.

What happens when I uninstall WP Reset?

Uninstalling WP Reset leaves everything behind. It does not auto-clean after itself. That’s an extra precaution made so that users don’t accidentally delete things.
